Park Policies

To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we have compiled a list of mandatory park policies. Please read and adhere to these policies so that all of our guests have a pleasant experience. By booking you have agreed to follow all mandatory park policies.

We hope your stay will be an enjoyable one! To make this possible we are asking that you read and adhere to the Shady Lake RV Park Policies. Shady Lake RV Park works hard to make this a pleasant place for all Guests and we hope you will help keep it that way.

 

  1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Shady Lake RV Park management reserves the right to refuse service based on RV/vehicle age or disrepair.
  2. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND SHADY LAKE DOES NOT PRORATE.
  3. For the benefit of all Guests, we ask that the consumption of alcoholic beverages be done in moderation (if at all) and discreetly. All ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTAINERS should be properly disposed of, NOT ON THE GROUND. A cleanliness fee of $25.00 will be enforced at the discretion of the Shady Lake RV Park Management.
  4. The consumption, sale, or intent to distribute illicit or illegal drugs is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in the park.
  5. Loud or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. Guests are responsible for the behavior of additional guests accompanying them during their stay. Please be considerate of your neighbor by keeping outside noise to a minimum. Quiet hours are enforced after 10 pm 
  6. SPEED LIMIT IN THE PARK IS 10 MILES PER HOUR.
  7. Guests are expected to maintain a neat and clean pad site. Over cluttering, permanent site skirting, excessive vehicle wear, and/or disrepair will be immediately addressed. Guests will be warned and a plan of action must be put into place to resolve any issues. If the Guest refuses to adhere to this policy, the Guest will be removed from the property.
  8.  Pets must be kept on a leash and should not disturb others. Outside dogs are not allowed. Dog chains/runners are prohibited to ensure the safety of all our guests. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET.
  9. Drainage hose MUST have an attachment to keep it secure. The hose should not be more than 6 inches in the sewage line.
  10. Bank fishing is allowed for our guests and their families. Fish heads, etc. should not be put in the dumpster.
  11. No swimming in the lake.
  12. Clotheslines not permitted. Please do not hang clothes on your rig either. Coin operated washers and dryers are available.
  13. Washing of vehicles is not permitted at the park. Guests staying for several months are expected to keep their home free of mildew, etc. THOSE PEOPLE STAYING LONG TERM SHOULD CHECK FOR WATER LEAKS.
  14. Repairs on vehicles should be cleared with Management. TWO vehicles allowed at each site. Old, broken down, non-useable vehicles are not allowed, no exceptions will be made. All boats and trailers are subjected to a storage fee.
  15. Trash should be put in the blue dumpster each day. Please put any food scraps, etc. in plastic bags before putting it in the dumpster. This will help to eliminate flies and odors
  16. CIGARETTE BUTTS should be put in ashtrays, NOT ON THE GROUND. A cleanliness fee of $25.00 will be enforced at the discretion of the Shady Lake RV Park Management.
  17. Open fires are not permitted in the park.
  18. Please DO NOT park in an empty pad site or in such a way as to block traffic. Park only in designated spaces and do not block an occupied pad site.
  19. It is crucial that all guests clean their sites thoroughly before departing. Failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee of $100 being issued to your RV site. To avoid this charge, please ensure that you remove any cinder blocks, wooden supports, or trash from your site before leaving.
  20. Be safe and enjoy yourself! Shady Lake is not responsible for accidents.

Cancellation Policy

All reservation deposits are non-refundable. For any weekly or monthly reservation that is cancelled 15 days or LESS prior to the check-in date, a $50 cancellation fee will be applied.
